This is one of the first pictures I painted in watercolour, and I still like it. There is a certain harmony amongst the colours, and the smooth, clean lines of the trees lend it a peaceful atmosphere. Bluebells are very popular, and this painting has been a steady best-seller as both a card and a print for several years now.
